This past year had great challenges and many accomplishments. One of which was the growing school of ABADA Capoeira in Australia and the expansion to the Greater Western Sydney area of Penrith/Kingswood.

We started ABADA Capoeira Penrith with 3 members: Graduado Filipino, Passarinha and Tilapia.

This expansion made capoeira more accessible to people further out west and brought capoeira to places that had never seen capoeira before!

We now have 12 active members in a diversified group of men and women from different nationalities, different professions, different lifestyles, all united with their growing passion for capoeira.

This new year brings new challenges and more opportunities to improve. Regardless of the difficulty, we will continue to grow and learn; one kick, one esquiva at a time.
